MEET THE BAND
Dusty - Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar
(Hey gang!) Dusty here!
I got interested in music at the early age of 6. Watching Ricky Nelson, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, I decided what I wanted to do. Playing for years on my own, I started my first band at 16 called the “Livin’ End”. Rock and Roll was big in those days, but my heart wasn’t in it. I played the Philly and Jersey clubs for the next 5 years before deciding I wanted to do something different, so I did. I went country, and the gigs came out of the woodwork. So I put together “The Dusty Roads Band” in 78’, and I got to open for many stars along the way from New York to Nashville. I love what I do, but I also love huntin’, fishin’, four wheelin’, and spending time with my wife Cindy, not necessarily in that order. Of course! Country rock/ Rockabilly and Oldies are my favorites also, with a few outlaw and classics thrown in. I am playing with 3 talented pro’s who love to keep every show “uppity and electrifying”. We are “The Dusty Roads Band!” I thank my mom and dad for showing me those 3 chords on the guitar when I was a kid. That’s something I’ll never forget!
“Love ya’ll”,
See ya’ at the gig!
